Garrard turntable working now! Video Clips. Duration : 2.02 Mins.
This is the Garrard turntable (I think maybe model AT60?) that I extracted from a GE Stereo Phonograph console, the console has a tube preamp and transister power amp. I discarded the wooden cabinet but saved the turntable, and I got some old LP today and tried it out.
DJ PEAK making a BEAT in his lab... VOL1 Video Clips. Duration : 2.80 Mins.
DJ PEAK testing the MPD24 and making a Beat with it! Produced, arranged and mixed by DJ Peak at the Peak Reset Studio, Nuremberg. Videoproduction by Screenshot Artworx • emotional picture design This Video shows DJ PEAK in his lab producing another banger by giving the MPD24 a shot. After producing with the SP12, Akai S950 and Cubase for almost 14 Years, he sold the residue his SP12 last year after it got totally broken. This sale was a good occasion to reconsider the whole workflow within the PeakReset-Studio and to update the whole gear. So he upgraded from Cubase SX2 to 4 and he sold off his Soundtracs Topaz 32 Channel mixer and switched to a fully digital system. All the analogue outboard gear is now connected to the 32 i/o Channels and is being used as before. Eventhough the production side is now much easier and simpler he still does his summing to analogue tape. Since he missed the trigger buttons of the SP12 he finally had to purchase something with buttons that give him the same functionality. So got himself a MPC60II. He was a lil sceptic about those USB-Button-Devices in the beginning but the MPD24 turned out to be a nice tool for soemone who doesn´t appreciate sound of 12bit samplers to have manual control over the samples. But it he remains with the real Deal: the MPC60II! He also purchased the S5000 wich turned out to be an perfect, though unexpected, catch for Hip Hop Production. Down the road, the equimpent has changed a lil, DJ PEAK not a bit...
